MINAHASA HIGHLAND TOUR The word Minahasa which means unification of the traditional tribes was derived from the word esa or one, hence the land was named Minahasa. This picturesque town, 25 km from Manado, is the center for many of the Christian Missionary groups. It is located on a plateau between two active volcanoes, Lokon and Mahawu. TANGKOKO TOUR Tangkoko is the richest Rain Forest where the area from Beach to the top of Tangkoko mountain ( high level ). Inside the forest can be found various plants from small ones until huge trees and endemic animals such as Hornbill ( birds ), Cuscus , black monkey, tarsius spectrum – smallest primate in the world. Walking inside the forest will be fun as you will walk in the shady ( under the tree ). Reaching Tangkoko will have nice road inside the City of Bitung and small road when entering the forest. Vehicles can drive inside the forest until the starting walking point. |

MOUNT TREKKING One of the nice and easy place for a Trekking is Mahawu Mountain. Mahawu Mountain is safe to climb and possible to go by car to the top.There is another interesting mountain called Lokon Mountain. Mount Lokon is a volcano that is still active, which is approximately 1580 meters high or below sea level. This volcano is very popular in North Sulawesi, since the trek, which is very challenging to all travellers who like climbing and the beautiful panorama of the mountain. |

RAFTING NORTH SULAWESI For a longer and more intense river experience, try the multi-day expeditions on the grade 3-4 in North Sulawesi. Although the river is navigable most of the year, conditions are the best between November and March, when rapids build and flow on for as long as 2km. The pristine forest surroundings are spectacular and its common to see giant lizards and other exotic wildlife. |
